Position Description
The lead MS Dynamics (D365) Business Analyst role will be part of a CGI team delivering both CE/CRM and Finance & Operations D365 functionality. This role will focus on Business analyst responsibilities for CE/CRM, with other team members focusing on the F&O business analysis tasks. The person in this role will collaborate as well with the D365 technical teams and client Business teams.
The project will both extend and initially implement functionality within MS D365 CE/CRM. In prior phases of this ongoing roadmap, the client has implemented D365 Sales for Marketing Automation and Master Data, Leads, Opportunities, Accounts, Contacts, Postings Trips, and an external Portal. They have also implemented D365 F&O (including A/R, A/P, General Ledger, Cash & Bank, Procurement, and Expense Management), The upcoming phase of the roadmap includes Projects/Contracts, Pricing, Orders & Invoices, Case Management, Reporting, and additional external Portal functions.
The activities to accomplish this includes finalization of requirements, design, development & configuration, testing, training, UAT support, and implementation planning and support for the above.
This CE/CRM Business Analyst role will participate in all of these activities, under an Agile project methodology led by a CGI Scrum Master and CGI Project Manager.

Your future duties and responsibilities
• Work within a disparate multi-location CGI team, and a client team that has ongoing 'day job' responsibilities, to drive key tasks to completion, sprint by sprint.
• Participate in planning and analysis of design and testing strategies
• Liaise, support and validate potentially complex requirements between client Business, CGI technical and architect, and client technical resources
• Confirm sprint functional scope and testing validity
• Work with Development teams to support the Business users to effectively execute and verify UAT
• Participate in validation steps during Implementation Dry Run tests

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Experience working in high profile project situations as a lead Business Analyst in a Microsoft Dynamics (D365) implementation in a multi-platform enterprise environment. Must be able to quickly ramp up on not only the system requirements, but on CGI's methodology, the client's approach, and how those are being merged for this project. Apply familiarity and knowledge of the capabilities of D365 Customer Experience / CRM to effectively engage and deliver for this project.
Strong candidates for this role will be pro-active problem solvers who have hands-on ability, a detailed functional understanding of the product, and can efficiently perform at high levels. The candidate must be comfortable taking responsibility for this scope of work and own it. The client participants will sometimes not be fully available, and they are seeking a strong partner to take over ownership of the detailed tasks.

Critically Important:
• Ability to communicate effectively with senior client staff and managers.
• Strong personal interaction, confidence, and verbal communication skills. Must be able to work collaboratively with Business partners and IT / technical counterparts.

Ideal Candidate:
• 5+ years of experience working as a functional Business Analyst with MS Dynamics 2-14, 2016, CRM 365
• Proven track record working with disparate teams to co-ordinate and influence results
• Strong understanding of OOB Microsoft Dynamics 365 modules and the functional configurations and capabilities of the product.
• Experience designing configuration and customizations on Dynamics 365, and understanding when OOB features can suffice, and when customization is required
• Understanding of the integrations required between D365 CE and F&O, and CE with typical legacy systems.

Skills:
• DevOps processes and approach
• Agile methodology experience, especially scrum (epics, user stories, features, MVP)
• Exposure to DevOps tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
• Written communication skills
• Exposure (or willingness) to prepare and deliver Train the Trainer materials to client trainers
• Ability to support client Business stakeholders in the preparation and validation of UAT testing activities

Nice to Have Skills (but not required):
- Experience with D365 BC of F&O, NAV, AX or other MS ERPs
- IIBA Certification
- MS Dynamics Certification
