The Sage program delivers support to the Government through the monitoring and operating of production systems; building, delivering, and optimizing custom products; and community collaboration to share knowledge and advise how our products can aid the customer with their missions.As a Project engineer you will be need:- In-depth knowledge of collection management- Facilitate Engineering collection tasking- Train on and utilize in-house tools to accomplish tasking requirements- Collaborate with users, scientists, engineers and mission partners- Support Testing, Demos and Development- Produce Engineering Study Requests to evaluate new collection techniques and tasking methodologies- Support the Product quality team with knowledge of signal processing techniques and methods of analysis- Support collection of data in the application of imagery viewing and remote sensing technology to aid the Government and its community of users- Make recommendations for innovative methods to accomplish the PQ and greater Government missions- Prepare and present briefings, update internal tracking metrics, and analyze trending statistics- Apply system engineering processes, methodologies, and tools to the design of system of systems, systems, and new product development- Develop procedures for operational execution- Achieve and maintain certifications in accordance with the contractor’s and customer’s formal training programs- Share knowledge in sensor processing, phenomena, and environmental effects for multiple Geographical Information Systems (GIS)This position requires a current TS/SCI and adjudicated CI polygraph to be considered.To promote the sharing of ideas, Lockheed Martin fosters an inclusive work environment that encourages differences and big-picture thinking.Our employees play an active role in strengthening the quality of life where we live and work by volunteering more than 850,000 hours annually.
