We are looking to hire a preschool teacher for our Three year old classroom. We are seeking individuals who have a passion for the education of young children.
This position is a full time position, Monday through Friday. Candidates must be at least 18 years or older, with reliable transportation and a Highschool diploma or equivalent. All applicants must pass a Virginia Criminal back ground check and Virginia CPS back ground check prior to working with the children. You will also be required to have a current TB test dates 30 days relative to your hire date. If you already have a current TB test we will need you to have one retaken, due to a state licensing requirement. Infant Pediatric CPR training, Child abuse and Neglect training, Virginia Preservice 10 hour training are also required upon hire.
Teacher responsibilities are but not limited too; lesson planning, implementing lesson plan, creating a safe and healthy learning environment, creating developmentally appropriate games and activities, sweeping, mopping, taking out trash, cleaning classroom bathroom, wiping tables after meals and snacks, serving meals and snacks, supervising bathroom use, reading books, implementing curriculum.
