Home Touch Home Care LLC is immediately hiring Caregivers for the following positions:
Companion
Homemaker
Personal Care Aide
Serving the following Counties
Stafford County, Caroline County, Prince William County, Fairfax County, Spotsylvania County
Responsibilities:
-Assistance with walking and mobility
-Dressing and grooming
-Bathing and Toileting
-Meal planning and preparation
-Oral and personal hygiene management
-Adult and elderly home companion visits
-Assistance with writing letters and correspondence
-Games, crafts, and friendly conversation
Requirements:
1. High School graduate
2. At least one (1) year of working as a companion
3. Effective interpersonal communication skills
4. Ability to exercise good judgment
5. Use of an automobile with possession of liability insurance is desirable
6. Must be able to speak, read, write & communicate effectively in English and meet one of the following qualifications:
7. Satisfactory completion of a nursing education program preparing for RN/LPN licensure
8. Satisfactory completion of a nurse aide education program approved by the VA Board of Nursing
9. Have certification as a nurse aide issued by the Virginia Board of Nursing
10. Be successfully enrolled in a nursing education program preparing for RN or LPN licensure and have currently completed at least one nursing course that includes clinical experience involving direct client care
11. Have satisfactorily completed training using the “Personal Care Aide Training Curriculum”, 2003 edition, of the Department of Medical Assistance Services.
Must have current CPR and First Aid Certifications
Must pass a criminal background check
