Greenfield Senior Living of Stafford is currently seeking full-time Certified Medication Technician's to help support the medication program. The Med Tech is responsible for the administration of medications in a safe and organized manner and assisting with resident care. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to: administration of medications, documentation of medication administration, and resident care. The Med Tech does answer to the Health Care and Resident Care Coordinator and will communicate with the pharmacy on a regular basis.
Qualifications:
Current medication technician certification (assisted living) in the state of VA in good standing
Exhibits a caring and compassionate attitude while articulating true concern for people
Able to make responsible choices and decisions and act in the resident's best interest
Six months experience in long term care or assisted living preferred
Ability to read, write and speak in English
Ability to prioritize, is flexible and organized

Greenfield Senior Living of Stafford is currently seeking compassionate, motivated applicants who have a passion for working with the elderly. The direct care team member is responsible for providing the hands on care, both physical and emotional, as outlined in each resident's service plan. The direct team member is also responsible for ensuring that light housekeeping, laundry and dining support are also completed. Direct team members assist with social activities and outings, therefore becoming part of the resident's extended family by providing resident centered care. The direct care team member is responsible for effectively communicating with residents and families, notifying the Resident Care Coordinator of any changes in condition or concerns and is an essential part of the care team providing support to our residents.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Experience in Senior Living/Nursing home (6months Minimum)
Ability to read, write and speak English
Able to make responsible choices, decisions, and act in the resident's best interest
Be at least 18 years of age
Have a passion for working with the elderly
