Private residence looking for a PRN Direct Support on an as needed basis, easy client, great same day pay. Great job for a retiree or someone looking for occasional PRN work
The ideal candidate must have a passion for and desire to work with people with developmental disabilities and other physical or mental disabilities. This position is hands off with stand by assistance but you must assist with Medication Management
Candidate must also have the ability to read and comprehend
Candidate must also have the ability to follow written and oral instructions.
Minimum Qualifications:
Previous experience working with adults with developmental disabilities or individuals with mental heath disabilities or health care field
Must consent to criminal records check, including a finger print check.
Valid VA driver's license required with acceptable driving record.
Must complete a TB Screening.
Once hired, must complete all required training's in a timely manner - TOVA, First Aid/CPR/AED, and Medication administration training.
Current Medicaid Waiver Competency Certification.
