Patient suffers from late onset alzheimer's (91 years old). Male is ambulatory, does most of his ADL's without assistance, needs occasional help bathing, washing hair, shaving, diaper changes. Incontinence is only urine at this time. Cannot prepare his own meals. This position involves the standard care of a patient in decline with Alzheimer's, his needs will become greater as he descends with the advancement of this disease.
Location is a farm setting near Unionville, VA.
Pay commensurate with skills and experience, cooking skills are a must. Full time preferred but will consider a part time position. Guest house residence is available as part of pay package if you are starting out or wish to reduce the commute. Guest house is private and detached from the main house.
