Value City Furniture distribution center in Ruther Glen, VA has an opening for 2nd shift Inventory Control/Operations Coordinator. This position ensures and maintains the integrity of our DC's inventory by performing regular and routine cycle counts, reconciling inventory reports and researching discrepancies. This position also provides support to the shift management by assisting with shipping and receiving operations such as opening and closing batches, printing tags, setting up the work schedule during the shift. We offer competitive pay with scheduled increases during the first year of employment (.50 per hour) and benefits including a 30% merchandise discount. Our 2nd shift works Sunday through Thursday 4:00 pm to 12:30 am. We pay weekly and have a generous time off benefit. Qualified applicants must have previous inventory control experience; strong computer (AS400 and Microsoft Office Suite); strong organization skills and the ability to multi-task. Must be able to operate PIT and work at heights up to 30 feet.
