Skilled Craftsman: Sign company located in Woodbridge, VA is an established sign and graphics company that offers services ranging from design, fabrication, and installation. We specialize in interior/exterior graphics, exhibits, and other visual environment solutions for government and commercial clients. We are seeking a skilled craftsman to join our team. You need to be an individual that takes pride in your work and cares about attention to detail. You should be someone who understands the importance of productivity by managing your workload/projects so that they are completed timely. You will be expected to take initiative on your production tasks; projects can have varying skills and techniques for completion, you need to be dynamic and creative, applying your experience to fit to the potential needs of each project.
Skills Sought:
Familiarity and experience with VINYL: printing, cutting, and applying/installing +PLUS
Installation of interior ADA signs, channel lettering, and panel signs
Operation of large format graphics printers and laminators
Operation of CNC router is highly preferred +PLUS
Wood craftsman skills with carpentry experience
Familiarity in working with sheet plastics/acrylics, aluminum, and wood.
Requirements:
You MUST be able to pass a background check to have access to government facilities.
You MUST have a valid driver's license with clean record.
Demonstrate the ability to maintain a high level of organization
Physically fit and have the ability to lift and carry bulky items
Work responsibly and independently
2- 5 years skilled craftsman experience
Willing and able to travel occasionally
Proficient use and knowledge on how to use power tools
Willing and able to attend continuing education training and demonstrate and apply skills learned.
Team player attitude willing to be crossed trained give and receive feedback working to build team unity.
