MINISTRY PURPOSE
Mt. Carmel Christian Academy is seeking a spiritual, academic, and organizational servant leader to provide vision and oversight for our team of ministry-minded educators in their mission to lovingly shape students hearts and minds with Christ-centered excellence.
QUALIFICATIONS
The MCCA Administrator must:
⢠Clearly profess and demonstrate a vibrant, growing Christ-centered life;
⢠Be able to articulate a philosophy of education consistent with a Biblical worldview;
⢠Hold at least one degree in education and have formal teaching experience;
⢠Have a track record of positive relational interactions with students, parents, and colleagues that are courteous, honest, and professional; and
⢠Handle challenges proactively with stability, optimism, objectivity, and perseverance.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The MCCA Administrator will be responsible to:
⢠Continuously cultivate a school environment that is Christ-centered, nurturing, wholesome, and harmonious;
⢠Hire and provide professional oversight, motivation, training, and evaluation of a staff team of approximately twenty K-12 teachers and aides;
⢠Give spiritual and academic guidance to students and parents as needed;
⢠Ensure the establishment and achievement of high standards for a quality integrated curriculum program at all grade levels;
⢠Oversee the coordination of all co-curricular activities in the areas of athletics and community outreach and service;
⢠Collaborate with the MCCA School Board in the execution of school policies related to safety, finances, and student discipline.
ACCOUNTABILITY
The MCCA Administrator will serve under the oversight of the Mt. Carmel Regular Baptist Church pastoral staff and in partnership with the MCCA School Board.
