Valley Vets is looking for a reliable, self-motivated person wanting to get a start in the veterinary field. We have a part-time Medical Ward position available to help you get experience in a veterinary office. As our Medical Ward you can expect to tend to the care of any animals in our facility, both boarding and sick patients. You will be expected to walk and feed the animals, administer medication, and keep the kennels and the facility as a whole clean and well-kept. You will need to be able to communicate well with our Vet Tech and other Medical Ward to ensure proper care is being provided for our patients and that our office is always at its best. The hours for this position are Monday through Friday 2 pm to 6 pm and every other weekend a split shift of 8 am to 12 pm and 5 pm to 7 pm. You may also be required to work on holidays.
