The Direct Support Professional (DSP) is responsible for the implementation of person-centered plans through teaching and assisting the people we support in a community based residential setting, or in one of our Adult Activity Program settings. DSP's maintain required documentation and reporting, assist with personal care as needed, foster a warm and caring home environment and initiate in-home and community based recreation activities. A high school diploma or equivalent is required and, as always, we seek creative innovative individuals with an eye towards providing the greatest quality of life possible for the people we support. We currently have the following DSP positions available:

In-Home:

DSP In-Home position is a great opportunity for someone looking for a second job or a college student.

Charlottesville. Part-time, 13 hours per week. Schedule: Sat. 12p- 8p and Sun. 12p - 5p.

** $600 Sign-On Bonus awarded to candidates hired into any part-time or full-time position in Residential Support Services. **

Residential Services:

Charlottesville (Rosser program.) Full-time, 30 hours. Schedule of: Sun.-Tues. 10:30p-8:30a

Charlottesville (Shamrock program.) Full-time, 40 hours. Schedule of: Tues. - Sat. 4-10p.

Charlottesville (Shamrock program.) Full-time, 40 hours. Schedule of: Tues. - Sat. 2-10p

Charlottesville (Shamrock program.) Full-time, overnight "asleep"* position. 40 hours. Schedule of: Wed - Sat. 10p-8a.

C'ville (Shamrock program.) Part-time, 15 hours per week. M-F 6a-9a.

Crozet (Jarman's Gap program.) Full-time, 40 hours per week. Sun. - Thurs. 3p-11p.

Part-time, 24 hours. Fri. and Sat. 12-8p in Charlottesville, and Sunday 8:30a-4:30p in Crozet.

Day Support:

Nelson (Adult Activity Center- Shipman, VA) Part-time, 24 hours per week. M,W,F 8a-4p.
