Position: Operations Director (Full-Time)
Location: Highland County, VA, or nearby location, with residence within reasonable distance to our
campus.
About the Role: As the Operations Director of The Village at AMI, you will be the on-site leading force
behind our mission to cultivate healthy communities and nurture local ecosystem health through food and
education. You’ll work with our Executive Director to lead our dedicated team, oversee operations,
manage and develop programs while fostering strong relationships with stakeholders and the community.
This is a role for someone who can balance the dynamic flow of day-to-day operations, a commitment to
a larger social and ecological mission, and be able to handle the evolving needs of a nonprofit.
What We’re Looking For: The ideal candidate for this position is someone committed to local food,
community health, and creating a life-enhancing culture. They are also a dynamic and functional leader
with experience in program development and management, agriculture and ecology, budgeting, and
