We have a compelling opportunity for a

Systems Engineerin support of a unique WMA customer site. This position requires an active

TS/SCI w/ Polygraph security clearance.

  • Design, develop, evaluate and sustain a Platform as a Service (PaaS) environment through the entire system life cycle.
  • Generate quantifiable requirements and ensure requirements comply with end user requirements and government standards through formal verification methods.
  • Translate high level product development strategies into system requirement specifications and work with other engineering disciplines to develop lower level detailed implementation requirements.
  • Establish and coordinate development of standards, practices, and procedures as related to the overall product development.
  • Assess performance using evaluation criteria and technical performance measures.
  • Ensure design applicability to the current system and traceability of requirements through compliance verification and validation.
  • Generate system level requirements verification procedures and customer acceptance test procedures.


Required Qualifications
  • System requirements capture, analysis, decomposition, and design.
  • Analysis, design, development, deployment, and lifecycle support for innovative hardware systems and applications.
  • Requirements generation, and independent verification and validation tools
  • Systems engineering tools (DOORS, JAMA, JIRA, etc.)
  • Identification of technical trends in information technology, awareness on-going IT projects, and business unit requirements
  • Applying project management model (e.g. Agile, Spiral, Waterfall) for a given development effort
  • Model Based System Engineering principles
  • Enterprise Architecture frameworks and principles
  • Systems Engineering Lifecycle (SELC) support
  • Use of Digital Twin to enable virtual designs
  • Ensuring developed systems comply with the enterprise technical architecture
  • Assisting in keeping senior management apprised of project or program status
  • Assisting project and program teams in preparing for program management reviews
  • Possess a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 4 years' relevant experience; or equivalent work experience, including related training or certifications.

  • Minimum 8 years of related experience
  • Requires current TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance


Desired Qualifications
  • IT system automation to include artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML)
  • Experience with automated testing
  • Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
  • Automation tools (e.g. Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Terraform, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Security Development Operations (SecDevOps) on iterative development projects
  • Cloud design, implementation, and configuration
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code
  • Knowledge of Agile development principles.
  • Knowledge of modern software languages (e.g. Java, C, C, C#, Python, Perl, etc.)
