The Office of the Commissioner of the Revenue is seeking qualified candidates for a Systems Analyst within the Information Technology Division. The Systems Analyst will support the design of new IT solutions; modify, enhance, or adapt existing systems; assist users on change control and system updates; provide training and manuals to users; support internal operations, budget management, and project planning; support existing products and services by acting as an agent for problem and operational issue resolution; and establish and maintain a variety of file systems, all with the aim of improving business efficiency and productivity.
The successful candidate will have experience analyzing existing systems and business models, mapping and documenting interfaces between new and legacy systems; identifying options for potential solutions and assessing them for both technical and business suitability; conducting requirements analysis and preparing proposals for modifying or replacing systems. This position will work closely with colleagues, developers, testers and a variety of end users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction across Loudoun County's tax assessment and commercial mass appraisal (CAMA) systems.
