Little Keswick School is now accepting applications for the position of Residential Counselors, Assistants, Full, Part time, Weekend. We seek energetic, engaging applicants who have a passion for helping children experience personal growth. The Residential Program offers students a setting to practice and learn interpersonal and life skills. Students spend their afternoon, evening, and weekend residential hours immersed in structured, planned, and engaging activities led by Counselors. Residential Counselors are integral in the students daily living and have strong, supportive relationships. In addition to building relationships, counselors teach Social Thinking© skills, lead group discussions, plan engaging activities, lead off-grounds trips, and use the Mandt® system to support each student to be safe within the group living environment. The ideal applicant is a blended professional who is organized, able to multi-task, and can attend to the details and subtleties of the thoughts, emotions, and behaviors of this student population. Residential staff must be active members of a team and contribute to the overall treatment direction of our students, while being able to utilize the guidance and insight of our clinical staff. Experience working with adolescents required.

REQUIREMENTS & GENERAL DUTIES OVERVIEW
Minimum high school diploma, Bachelor's preferred in Human Services. If no B.A./B.S., then some equivalent experience working with children/adolescents required.
Experience working in camps, schools, youth groups, or youth leadership preferred
Assists in supervising a dorm of 8-12 boys alongside other residential staff
Completes daily reports on the growth and deficits of students
Follows and supports the LKS program protocols and behavior management system
Remains calm and patient while providing strong and supportive interventions
Provides energetic, joyful, and engaging care for the students
