Framatome is seeking a Regional Account Manager working remotely in the upper Midwest territory. The Regional Account Manager (RAM) is the internal expert of customers assigned to them. They develop and maintain customer relationships at all levels within the customer’s organization from the plant technical departments to the C-Level. The RAM takes the lead in promoting Framatome BUs' selected products and solutions to detect any early stage opportunities in coordination with BUs' sales forces, to contribute to tactics and strategies for closing orders, and to contribute in defining the target pricing and alliance strategies. The deliverables of the position are an account plan containing a detailed commercial action plan with a 1 year and a 3 year span, key knowledge of customer decision criteria, processes and individuals that can be mobilized at any moment for the benefit of any Framatome BU. RAMs attend Framatome validation committees as customer experts, collect and structure customer related information, and regularly report about customer activities creating opportunities or risk from Framatome and its BUs and customer meetings.Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Develops and maintains extensive and positive client relationships from the technical/operational plant departments to the C-Level

Masters customer organization, decision-making and validation processes and make this information available to Framatome teams.

Actively supports the promotion of Framatome products and solutions as per BU development strategies within customer organization, and directly contributes to the early identification of new opportunities and markets based on BUs inputs and instructions and with his/her contribution. The RAM is the owner of the Account Plan and the related detailed action plans set on 1 year and 3 year time spans. Communicates the Value Proposition to the customer.

Actively contributes to defining with the BU the winning prices for Framatome offers and actively contributes to the definition of offers strategies and tactics as well as efficient partnership strategies.

Actively contributes in the effort to defend Framatome offers and closing orders.

Actively contributes to filling and maintaining SPEAK data and information, in a coordinated manner with Framatome BUs.

The RAM is the Framatome expert of the customer's process, people, standards, and habits, and in that role is expected to spend most of his/her time with customers.

Participates in Framatome validation comittees.

Integrates his/her activities, missions, and goals with the BUs' activities, missions, and goals and utilizes his/her Customer knowledge and intimacy to provide insights to the BUs for innovative Customers Solutions in the frame of business development.

Develops and maintains relationships with the Customer at the CNO, VP, and Director levels at both corporate and the sites, as well as down into the organization, including Supply Chain, for key owners and influencers – ideally the RAM should be viewed as a “Trusted Advisor” by the Customer.

Serves as the key conduit to ensure Framatome executives develop and maintain relationships with the Customer, arranging for periodic face to face interactions multiple times within the year and as appropriate considering the current and potential business along with other considerations.

Attains and reviews the Cutomers’ CapEx and O&M plans to identify opportunites for Framatome.

Contributes to Capture Plan & Closure Plan development in coordination with the BU Sales Teams.

All candidates must meet the following minimum requirements in order to be considered for this opportunity. Candidates who exceed minimum qualifications may be considered for a higher level position.

Regional Manager I: BS Degree in a technical or business discipline. In addition, the position requires a minimum of 8 years of closely related work experience.

Regional Manager II: BS Degree in a technical or business discipline. In addition, the position requires a minimum of 10 years of closely related work experience.

Regional Manager III: BS Degree in a technical or business discipline; MBA preferred. In addition, the position requires a minimum of 12 years of closely related work experience.
