Full Time Position at Blue Mountain Barrel House
JOB SUMMARY
Blue Mountain Barrel House is seeking a Packaging associate for its production operations. The packaging associate will work in the production department of the brewery, focusing on working on assembly line. JOB DESCRIPTION Packaging Technician position entails maintaining/ running high-speed machinery on the bottling line and cleaning kegs. This position is responsible for safely operating equipment to package beer in bottles and kegs.
REQUIREMENTS/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS
Applicant must have: - Good mechanical skills. - Work varying hours on a rotating schedule. - A positive attitude in a demanding and repetitive production environment. - Strong orientation towards quality control and safety. - Ability to multitask and adjust to changing priorities while focusing on detail. - Good time management skills. - Strong communication ability, both written and verbal. - Self-motivated and able to work independently.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORK ENVIRONMENT
Applicants must be able to handle: - Standing on feet all day. - Ability to lift 55 lbs. - Heavy physical work (bending, kneeling, pulling hoses, etc.). - Work continuously on wet floors and with wet equipment. - Loud to moderate continuous noise in work area. - Work with strong and often hazardous chemicals.
