Altavista Animal Hospital is looking to add a veterinary assistant/technician to our team. Experience is preferred, but we will consider all applicants. Starting salary will be commensurate with experience. All interested parties MUST come in to complete an application. Please bring your resume with you.
The person filling this position must be dependable, personable, observant, well spoken, self motivated, willing to learn, be comfortable using computers, able to lift 40 lbs alone and be able to work hard and fast on their feet. Duties include, but are not limited to, assisting doctors, technicians, and receptionists in all the work of the hospital as well as kennel work and maintaining a clean facility. Hours are variable week to week (scheduled in advance) and range from 25-40 per week including alternating weekends, holidays and some early mornings and late evenings.
