Busy Lynchburg Manufacturing Company is searching for a qualified 1st Shift Assembly Technician to join their 2nd Shift Team. Pay Rate: $11.00/hourPrimary Responsibilities for a Qualified Assembly Technician :Retrieve raw materials for coil assemblyPrepare basic assemblies for processing and shipmentAssist in setting up unit components into final assembled unitsAbility to use a variety of sheet metal toolsPolish completed units and debur metal partsBe willing to cross train in other areas such as Brazing and Shipping to meet production deadlinesMathematically and Mechanically InclinedSafety Conscious in all areas of work dutiesMonday -Friday 3:30pm-MidnightMust be able to work until overtime hours, to meet production deadlinesSome Weekend Work May Be RequiredPay Rate: $11.00/hrPaid Weekly Medical, Dental and Vision coverage options are availableThis position offers possible pay increases, after 90 and 180 daysQualifications:Qualified Candidate needs to meet the following criteria:High School diploma or GED requiredMust be able to pass math and measuring testConstruction background is highly recommendedPrevious Mechanical Assembly Experience is neededPrevious HVAC experience is preferredMust be able to work, effectively and efficiently, in a fast paced environmentMust be able to stand, stoop, bend, squat,and twist.and be able to repetitively lift, up to 50lbs for the entire shiftPre-employment drug screen is required for consideration of employmentApplicant may be subject to a background check - A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
