The Direct Support Professional (DSP) is responsible for the implementation of person-centered plans through teaching and assisting the people we support in a community based residential setting, or in one of our Adult Activity Program settings. DSP's maintain required documentation and reporting, assist with personal care as needed, foster a warm and caring home environment and initiate in-home and community based recreation activities. A high school diploma or equivalent is required and, as always, we seek creative innovative individuals with an eye towards providing the greatest quality of life possible for the people we support. We currently have the following DSP positions available

Residential Services:

Sr. Direct Support Professional (Stevens-Varnum program.) Tues. 10a-6p, Weds. 3-11p, Th. 10a-6p, Fri. & Sat. 3-11p.

Charlottesville (Rosser program.) Full-time, 30 hours. Sun.-Tues. 10:30p-8:30a

Charlottesville (Shamrock program.) Full-time, 40 hours. Weds.-Sat 10p-8a.

Charlottesville (Shamrock program.) Full-time, 40 hours. Weds.-Sat 10p-8a.

Charlottesville (Shamrock program.) Part-time, 15 hours per week. M-F 6a-9a.

Charlottesville (Shamrock program.) Part-time, 16 hours per week. Sat. and Sun. 8-4

Charlottesville (Shamrock program.) Part-time, 16 hours per week. Fri. and Sat. 12p-8p.

Crozet (Jarmans Gap program.) Full-time, 40 hours per week. Tu. “ Sat. 3p-11p

Crozet (Jarmans Gap program.) Full-time, 40 hours per week. Sun. “ Thurs. 3p-11p.

Crozet (Jarmans Gap program.) Part-time, 20 hours per week. Th. 4p-8p, Fri 3p-11p, Sa. 8:30a-4:30pm.

Crozet (Jarmans Gap program.) Part-time, 12 hours per week. Sat & Sun 9a-3pm

Crozet (Jarmans Gap program.) Part-time, 8 hours per week. Sun. 8:30a-4:30p

Part-time, 24 hours. Fri. and Sat. 12-8p in Charlottesville, and Sunday 8:30a-4:30p in Crozet.

Nelson County (Stevens-Varnum program.) Full-time, 40 hours per week. Sat. & Sun. 9a-5p, Mon. and Tues. 3p-11p , Fr. 3p-11p.

Day Support:

Charlottesville Adult Activity Center. Full-time, 40 hours per week. Mon.-Fri. 8a-4p.

Louisa Adult Activity Center. Full-time, 40 hours per week. Mon. “ Fri. 8a-4p

Nelson (Adult Activity Center- Shipman, VA) Part-time, 24 hours per week. M,W,F 8a-4p

In-Home:

Charlottesville. Part-time, 13 hours per week. Schedule: Sat. 12p- 8p and Sun. 12p “ 5p.

Charlottesville Full-time, 40 hours per week. Schedule: Mon. - Fri. 8am-4pm
