We have active jobsites throughout the Shenandoah Valley, Winchester, Charlottesville, Lynchburg, Richmond, NOVA and Maryland. Therefore employees do not have to relocate to Harrisonburg, they can travel from home to jobsites directly with our large "foot print" of work.
Responsibilities include but are not limited too:
Install all types and sizes of glass, including plate glass, safety glass, insulated glass of all kinds and thicknesses into windows, storefronts, curtain walls, etc. as required. Cut, fit and install windows, storefronts, curtain walls, panels, etc. as required and fasten into building conditions in a correct manner.
Essential Functions and Physical Demands Include but are not limited too:
A Valid Drivers License.
Ability to work with a team and have a positive attitude.
Basic knowledge of math and how to read a tape measure.
Ability to lift 25 to 75 pounds or more on a regular basis.
Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials which includes large sheets of glass and aluminum frames.
Must be comfortable working with heights from lifts, scaffolding and roof tops as necessary.
