English Construction Company is looking to hire an accountant for the Accounts Payable department. This position will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer. Experience in accounting in construction industry required.
Essential Job Tasks, Duties, and Responsibilities
Process vendor and supplier invoices
Process utility and rent bills for company housing
Reconcile monthly statements
Manage payments for vendors and suppliers on time
Review and enter all approved invoices from vendors and suppliers
Set up new vendors in the construction accounting software
Provide job cost analysis to Project Managers
Work efficiently in Sage Timberline, Excel, and Microsoft Outlook
Assist in financial auditing
Assist in answering company phone calls
May perform other duties as assigned
