RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in search of an IT Operations Project Manager in McLean, VA.
Duties:
Analyzing existing voice and data networks and recommending solutions, including the setup, configuration, and testing of Cisco Communications Manager, Unity Connection, Instant Messaging and Presence, Call Manager Express, Cisco LAN switches (core, distribution and access), Cisco firewalls, routers and voice gateways, etc.
Performs moderately complex tasks relating to telecom network operations, installation and maintenance for telecommunications service offerings through the application of business and technical skills; Provides technical support and maintenance for existing and new telecommunications services; Performs installs, moves, adds, and changes (IMAC), handling moderately complex issues
Configures, deploys, tests, maintains, monitors, and troubleshoots telecommunications network components of a moderately complex nature to provide a secure, high performance network, including services for core LAN/WAN, VOIP, QOS (Quality of Service, COS (Class of Service, VLAN's Virtual Local Area Network, SBC's (Session Border Controller) and Sip[ (session Initiated Protocol
Implements changes to the system, troubleshoots problems with DISA in the network and analyzes volume of traffic on the system; Implements moderately complex telephony solutions and project plans through the use of applications, which may include Cisco Call Manager, Unity voice Mail, Cisco emergency Responder in a UCS and non-UCS environment; Works with other network engineers and DISA to maintain and improve functionality to the platform
Operates under general supervision and may provide guidance to more Junior Engineers or Analysts and works with helpdesk and production support engineers
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree required
CCIE Voice Certification
Security+ Certification
Ten years or more of experience in the implementation and maintenance of Cisco-based Voice Network Infrastructures
Candidate should have technical skills that cover a broad range of UC/telephony disciplines that include experience with Cisco UC, etc., preferably within a DoD environment
VoIP configuration, ACD, call barging, Call pilot, calls manger configurations
Configuration of End-user Cisco VoIP, IM gateway network infrastructure
Configuration of VoIP, EPABX, CIPC (Soft phone) &hard phone across the global
Hand on experience on IPCC, UCCE, IPT, Cisco ICM, CUCM, Voice Gateways, CVP, Gatekeeper, Routers, L3 Switches
CCMP, CVP, F5, Voice Gateways (PRI/VXML/Queuing)
Configuration and troubleshooting on PSTN Gateways
CCMP configuration and troubleshooting
Commissioning, Configuration and troubleshooting Data and Voice Circuits
Ability to enable traces and collect logs in CCM and PSTN gateway
