Job Title:

Python Developer

Location : McLean, VA

JOB DESCRIPTION :
  • Assist team in developing and supporting Accounts Payable Processing, T&E and Transform applications.
  • Support new initiatives as well as applications that are currently in production with active users and frequent releases.
  • Applications are primarily developed in Python, Angular and AWS application stack.

  • Project applications sits on the Quantum application (Python libraries - APIs): data transformation- uses Quantum to leverage the data for Internal usage. Target users are non-technical business users /account users. Quantum is only used with no changes. This was a new project
  • First 60 - 90 days active development – speed up on the built. Unit test, fix , deployment. 100% to may be 50-50 dev and support.
  • 7 years of Experience with solid Python and AWS deployment required.

75% is backend; 25% on Angular /UI .
  • Full Stack- Strong python, dev APIs, good infrastructure exp on AWS – shack Docker, Lambdas, Dynamo DB.
  • Dev the application on the AWS.
  • No Java in this application
  • Angular a plus – full stack not a must
  • Scala, Spark, Hadoop a tremendous plus
  • Development for 3 months and then live deployment so 50% production support.
  • Nice to Have: Scala, Spark, Hadoop
  • Must Have: Strong Python, develop APIs, RestAPI, Docker, Lambdas, Spark, Pyspark a plus,
  • More a application development, Server side application dev,
  • Rest Service developer required.
