Job Type: Full-Time

Hours: 8 AM “ 5:30 PM, Monday - Friday

Job Posting:

SEVA is looking for a Customer Service Representative (CSR) to process orders and support customer needs. The CSR will work closely with SEVAs vendors and customers and should have excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate for this role should be self-motivated and hard-working with a team-oriented mentality. The candidate should possess excellent organizational and task management skills, and superior interpersonal skills. In addition, the candidate should be proactive, attentive, and precise.

About SEVA:

SEVA Technical Services, Inc. is a service disabled veteran owned small business located in Newport News, VA. Started in 2005 by father and son, SEVA began as a safety consulting firm. In 2007, SEVA incorporated and transitioned to providing a diversified product line to the United States Government through government supply contracts on GSA, FedMall, and Milstrip. SEVA has since been providing exceptional customer service, competitive pricing, and fast delivery to our customers.

Responsibilities:

Processing daily orders accurately and quickly.

Correcting errors and organizing the information in a manner that will optimize swift and accurate correcting.

Manage and provide superior customer service on every call: take orders, tactfully listen to and resolve customer complaints, inquiries, price and product availability and maximizing sales/profits.

Properly document of all communication between caller and representative.

Serve as a resource of product knowledge to customers and answer/direct calls as needed.

Provide support to staff by contributing to a shared workload.

Manage data projects which may require researching products and building specification sheets.

Perform other assignments as requested by supervisor or management.

Requirements:

Experience: 2 Years (Preferred) in a Customer Service or Administrative Role

Education: High School Diploma / Associates Degree (Preferred)

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both spoken and written.

Ability to concentrate for lengthy periods and perform accurately with adequate speed.

Proficient touch typing skills.

Able to prioritize and balance multiple task lists at one time.

Strong problem solver and planner with good organizational skills.

Must be able to work set hours and have reliable transportation.
