Sandbridge Realty is located in the Sandbridge Beach community of Virginia Beach and our business is providing memorable rental experiences for vacationers. We are searching for a qualified Reservations Consultant who specializes in finalizing rental inquiries by addressing client vacation lodging needs and promoting add-on options. Our ideal person will possess excellent communication and computer skills, with a proven track record for closing the deal and ensuring satisfied clientele. We're looking for someone who is professional, highly motivated, responsible, detail-oriented and energetic, has a positive and upbeat can-do attitude and possesses strong customer service and organizational skills. Candidate must be able to function independently and in a team setting. It's a plus if you have an active Virginia Real Estate license. Experience in the Vacation Rental industry is helpful, but not required.
Reservationist Duties: (include, but not limited to)
Handling of reservation requests via phone and email
Converting customer contacts into reservations
Answer and resolve customer inquiries
Build good relationships internally and externally
Up-Sell where appropriate
Administrative duties - Filing, faxing, copying, phones, etc.
Maintain Guest files - computerized and manual systems
Requirements:
Great computer skills
Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Outlook
Previous reservations experience and/or one year customer service experience
Fluent in the English language, multi-lingual helpful
Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
This is a Part-time position to start with approximately 15 to 29 hours per week depending on company needs. Weekends and some rotational evenings will be necessary.
