Infinitee Day School is now accepting resumes and applications for Lead Teachers and Assistants. Available shifts are between 6am-6pm. We gladly accept volunteers and/or intern students. Serious and qualified applicants may submit resume to the email address provided below or come into the facility and complete an application. Initial pay is $7.50-$9hr for both positions.
Qualifications:
Must have 6-months of programmatic experience working and/or volunteer at a child-care facility.
Must have own reliable transportation.
Must be flexible.
12-24hrs of childcare training before employment, based on position.
CPR/First Aid preferred or must obtain after employment.
Must be willing to complete and compensate for background checks.
Ability to lift 10-20lbs
Must have patience and the ability to care for children
Ability to prepare lesson plans and group activities (Lead Teacher)
Plan both long and short-range activities in accordance with curriculum objectives, developmentally appropriate practice and program philosophy.
Meet the emotional, social, physical and cognitive needs of each child
Encourage assistants to contribute to curriculum planning
Coordinate field trips
Prepare weekly plan charts
Complete bi-annual assessment of children's development
Report progress of children to parents in bi-annual reports and through parent-teacher conferences
Maintain daily open communication with parents
Keep accident reports
Maintain anecdotal records
Maintain confidentiality
Report any suspect abuse to supervisor
Arrange a classroom environment in accordance to program goals and philosophy
Maintain a safe and healthy environment
Inspect and replace damaged or lost materials
Attend in-service and staff meetings
Supervise assistants, aides and volunteers in the classroom
Keep all appropriate records such as records, attendance and time sheets for up to 3 yrs.
Maintain 16 hrs of documented annual training
Meet all applicable licensing regulations
