Join us and together we will drive the future of health care .This is an exceptional opportunity to do innovative work that means more to you and those we serve at one of America's leading health benefits companies and a Fortune Top 50 Company.Employee Relations Consultant - PS27123Work Location: This position will work out of one of the following Anthem office locations - Atlanta, GA; Indianapolis, IN; Richmond, VA; Norfolk, VA; Midland, GA; Mason, OH.This position is responsible for serving as the primary point of contact for associates and management for associate relations issues including but not limited to: investigations, agency charges (EEO, DOL), employment litigation, associate complaints, performance management, coaching, development, attendance, and other issues.Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

Provides advice, guidance, coaching, and training to associates and managers based on policies and legal consultation, and in accordance with employment laws and regulations.

Provides oversight of the company's internal investigations of associate complaints and serves as a liaison to Legal on associate relations matters.

Develops and provides periodic associate relations-related analytical data and analyzes trends to determine appropriate action plans.

Qualifications

Requires a BA/BS degree.

2 -5 years of human resources experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

HR designation strongly preferred (SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP).

Proficiency with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

Experience with conflict resolution and coaching.

Prefer investigatory experience

Employment law experience preferred.
