This level handles more routine issues.Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Determines and calculates amount of overpayment.
Issues refund request letters, notice letters, or med lists.
Processes voluntary refunds.
Adjusts claims based on refund received.
Performs other duties as assigned
Mandatory overtime may be required based on the needs of the department, this could be 10 to 15 hours a week.Training Schedule Monday - Friday 8:30 AM to 5 PM EST
High school diploma or equivalent and
2 years experience in claims
2 years of customer service
Experience working with Excel
Must have knowledge of relevant claims systems and related software and good PC skills.
Requires strong problem-solving and oral and written communication skills
Working a healthcare or manage care - preferred.
Working with medical claims - preferred.
Call Center experience a plus
Experience working with collections a plus
