Creates and issues work orders for door collection and/or delivery
Tracks and traces shipments to ensure door appointments are met and cargo is delivered
Monitors and records trucker performance
Communicates to customer(s) potential delays or issues preventing dispatch
Ensures HAZMAT compliance for HAZ Door Moves
Documents pertinent dispatch-related information to ensure maintenance of timely and accurate records
Rebills Customer(s) for transport-related expenses
Reconciles trucking invoice discrepancies
Identifies matchback/one-way opportunities
Identifies potential cost saving opportunities
Ensures customer inquiries including FootPrints Issues are addressed in a professional manner within the agreed upon SLAs
Works collaboratively with internal departments to expedite transport
Handles significant volume of telephone and written communication
Identifies and communicates to management any problems or potential problems
Miscellaneous related duties or projects as assigned.
Skill Sets / Education & Experience Requirements:
High School diploma required.
Must be proficient in basic Microsoft Office application (Excel, Outlook, Word).
Detail-Oriented person with strong organization and problem solving skills
Ability to work collaboratively with team members
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
Must be availble to work 8:30am-5:30pm, Monday thru Friday.
Skill Sets / Education & Experience Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Knowledge of Intermodal general operating procedures preferred.
