Maintenance Technician

Job Summary:

The Maintenance Technician will perform proper diagnosis of any malfunctioning machinery, general repairs, install new equipment and systems, and perform a preventive maintenance program on all assigned machinery as directed by the supervisor. A-B shifts, working on the weekends every other month.Duties & Responsibilities:Follow good housekeeping practices by keeping the maintenance and tool storage area neat and clean, as well as timely cleanup of work area after each job is completedInstall new equipment or rearrange existing equipmentBe available on call for emergency repairs as needed to keep the plant in good running orderMaintain preventative maintenance records and perform preventative maintenance on plant and road equipmentOther duties as assignedThe job description is not designed to capture all the employee’s responsibilities but is intended to capture essential functions of the role.
