Location(s): Preferred location Wallingford, CT; Must reside within 50 miles of other IngenioRX offices (NJ, OH, GA, VA, MO, NV, CT, MN, IL and KY)The Pharmacy Contract Consultant position is responsible for providing invoicing and collection support for medical utilization rebates, including reporting and analytics. Position will facilitate discussions, respond to requests and provide transition support for new client(s).Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

Utilizing contract terms and rates, ensure key terms are appropriately included into invoicing system to process quarterly medical rebate operations

Perform financial reconciliation of payments against invoiced amounts to ensure accurate amounts received

Review data submissions and perform quality checks to ensure all data received and loaded as expected

Ensure timely quarterly payments are made to clients with associated reports

Develop and provide supporting reports

Collaborate with external associates and/or clients which may include attending frequent meetings (phone) to discuss details

Investigate and report on issues and inquiries from both internal and external parties

Provide input and receive guidance on issues, challenges, and solutions related to drug policies, rebate contracts, pharma programs and initiatives

Perform data and financial analysis of drug categories, including utilization patterns, trend identification and specific drug opportunity analysis

Qualifications

Requires a BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field

Requires 2 years of contract administration experience, financial analytics experience, data extraction and manipulation experience

Ability to extract data, perform analyses and identify trends and emerging considerations desired

Prior experience with contract terms and conditions preferred to assist in ensuring contract terms are met

Prior experience with medical drug claims is preferred

Ability to track many details and retain knowledge of various rates, drug positions, edit details, etc. required

Intermediate level experience with Excel and Access required

Ability to work independently, and part of a team required

May need to attend frequent phone meetings

Prior experience/knowledge of pharmaceutical products, including familiarity with pharmaceutical and health care terminology, contract terminology and service agreements strongly preferred.
