The Diversified Business Group is a solutions-oriented business unit within the Company that will support Anthem and other external clients in the pursuit of transforming healthcare.VP- DBG Executive Relationship ManagementResponsible for leading the development, relationship management, and execution of strategies to manage and grow the relationship and related operating gain between DBG (Anthem’s Diversified Business Group) and Anthem as the client.Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

Build strategic relationships across DBG internal delivery teams (Behavioral Health, Advanced Analytics, Care Delivery and Benefit Management) and Anthem (Medicare, Medicaid and commercial entities).

Work collaboratively and cross-functionally with each portfolio company to ensure client and market needs are understood, potential solutions are explored and vetted, and opportunities for revenue-generating offerings are fully developed.

Evaluates DBG products and capabilities and develops strategies to upsell new solutions and manage risk products.

Primary oversight and management of Anthem business relationships for AIM, CareMore, Aspire, HealthCore, and Beacon Health. Collaborate with C Suite Executives to ensure client needs are met through flawless implementation and program management.

Manage operational budget and resources. Manages a growing team of development, relationship management, and operations staff including Account Executives dedicated to key Anthem business segments.

Hires, trains, coaches, counsels and evaluates performance of direct reports.

The leader for DBG Account Management Anthem is responsible for the following deliverables (at a high level):

Develop targeted communication strategy for all facets of Anthem tailored to specific C-suite executives as well as coordinating operations managers and business stakeholders that clearly communicate the value of DBG offerings both strategically and financially to Anthem customers.

Create detailed strategic account maps in Salesforce (LOB, Segment, Market) to streamline communications and that outline organizational relationships to help identify the right people to contact, identify the fastest path to sale, share account updates, and track touchpoints all on one platform.

Develop an in-depth knowledge of the DBG products and services, focusing on new business models (risk) and solutions (ex. Top 5%).

Create strategic solution playbooks that curate custom offerings tailored to Anthem specific needs by market, segment and LOB.

Oversee Joint Operating Review process and Anthem performance dashboards that track KPIs, goals and strategic actions.

Facilitate Anthem Growth Council, Anthem Advisory Council and other DBG-Anthem wide collaboration efforts

Represent DBG at local, regional and enterprise forums with Anthem leadership

BA/BS; 10+ years of experience in health care services, strategy and market development, consulting, and investment and partnerships; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Ability to travel up to 60% nationwide

Experience in the healthcare industry, including developing and managing risk agreement with health plans, payers, ACOs, providers, etc. is strongly preferred

MBA or related master’s level degree is strongly preferred.

Ability to work in any Anthem or DBG location
