Endodontic Specialty practice looking for a full-time dental assistant to work 4-5 days a week. The job is a full-time position. Dental assisting will be in Endodontics as we are a specialty practice and so the right candidate must be willing to become trained in high quality endodontics assisting. Ideally, prior work history as a dental assistant is preferable, but a highly motivated new graduate may be considered. We require the candidate to be reliable, hardworking, a quick learner, with a calm demeanor and to have exceptional computer skills. We are a one dentist practice and a very much family/team oriented group-NOT Corporate. Know that there is strong future potential growth for the practice and with that growth the potential for a high hourly wage for the right candidate.
Eventually, some front Desk Duties would also be part of the expected job duties and would be part of future training.
Dental Assistant/Front Desk Qualities
The right candidate is a self-motivated individual with the ability to complete tasks without direction in at times a high paced environment but be able to focus and work quietly during down times. Candidates should have a warm and friendly personality, use professional language and be able to bring creative ideas to improve the overall business to give our patients the best experience.
-must possess High School Diploma
-must have dental assisting certification
-must have CPR and Xray certification or be willing to obtain within 30 days of hire.
