Hope Care & Love HHS is looking for a qualified, dedicated, dependable and compassionate Direct Support Professional for our Group Home.
The Group Home DSP's responsibility is to work with individuals who have developmental disabilities. Assist individuals to become more integrated in their communities by maximizing the person’s strengths, interests, and abilities. The goal for individuals to direct their own activities that create a meaningful life. This includes contributing to the community and developing relationships with people outside their support system. Support may occur in a variety of settings and may include providing personal care, assistance with daily living activities, job coaching, teaching/developing skills, advocating with the individual, assisting in communication and self-expression, and ultimately supporting the individual in meeting his or her own goals.
Two positions are open with schedules as:
Monday-Friday 4pm-12am & every other weekend 8am-8pm
Monday-Friday 12am-8am & every other weekend 8pm-8am
Applicant MUST have a valid Driver's License
Applicant should have:
DSP certification
Medication Management Certification
TOVA trained and certified
CPR/First Aid certified
Able to pass ALL background checks
