Academy Animal Care is now accepting applications for full time employment. We are growing and looking to hire in all areas of the hospital. Our immediate need is for a Customer Service Representative (Reception); however, applicants interested in assistant and kennel work are also strongly encouraged to apply. We believe in cross training and accomplishing our patient care through a team approach. Applicants should be friendly, outgoing, and possess a strong work ethic with the ability to multi-task. Job duties include providing outstanding customer service, answering a multi-line phone system, data entry into medical software, and all aspects of animal care and restraint. Experience with AVIMARK is encouraged but not required. AAC is a progressive 4 doctor full service veterinary hospital near downtown Suffolk and easily accessible to all areas of Hampton Roads. Our hours of operation are 7:30am to 6:30pm M-F and Saturdays 8-1. Availability to work rotating evenings and weekends is mandatory.
