Do you want to become part of a team that gives their all for their patients? The Pet Clinic at Woods Corner, a one doctor veterinary clinic in the Kempsville area, is looking for 1-2 part-time/full-time veterinary assistants/receptionists. Animal care experience is preferred, but we will train the right person. This is a multiple role position, meaning the new hire will be serving in both receptionist and veterinary assistant roles.
Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
Assisting the doctor with exams and surgical procedures
Client education
Care and cleaning of clinic
Front desk/reception duties
Requirements:
Must be at least 21 years old
Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
Must be willing to work with dogs, cats, small mammals and reptiles
Must have good communication skills
Must have schedule flexibility
Must maintain a professional demeanor/appearance
