Minuteman Press Norfolk. We are currently seeking to hire talented full time Graphic Designer. We have a fast paced environment with emphasis on quality and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Fluency in current graphic design, such as InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
-Self Motivation and a drive to excel
- A passion for designing and ability to take the initiative and bring new and exciting design concepts and ideas to the table.
- 2 years experience as a graphic designer in art department with the emphasis on designing layouts for promotional items and signage (Print Shop experience is a plus!)
-Experience in layout, color theory and typography in both digital media and print.
-Ability to effectively manage multiple projects/tasks of varying complexities, meet deadlines and work well under pressure
-Ability to take directions and relate effectively with others and work as a member of a team
-Effective written and verbal communication skills
Responsibility include:
-Designing and creating layouts for customers printing, promotional items, signage needs, etc.
-Working with all types of media: Banners, interior and exterior signs, apparel, printing needs, vehicle wraps and promotional products.
Operating the digital press and wide format
Ordering promotional items.
Working directly with customers via phone and face to face
