Established and growing custom fabricator of stone and granite is looking for a professional and self motivated showroom consultant with a great attitude and ability to work in a team environment.
Duties include:
Greeting customers in a friendly and professional manner in person and over the phone. This must be represented in your attitude, dress and overall demeanor.
Throughly gather all relevant client, job, address, contact and any additional information as needed and file this information in assigned areas.
Properly calculate square footage and provide clients with an estimation.
Walk clients through the stone yard and make recommendations
Utilize the companies measurement and installation calendar, phone system, invoice and payment database.
Be able to describe the difference between quartz ( different brands ) , granite, marble and their ideal use for various projects
Be knowledgable of our sinks, vanities, faucets and mosaic tiles and up sell these items.
Provide tips on maintaining and caring for stone which includes general maintenance, sealing, chipping hazards, durability and staining.
Have a general knowledgable of fabrication and installation procedures which includes but not limited to the attachment of under mounted sinks, faucet centers, cook-top cut outs, bridges, use of brackets for overhangs.
Effectively and professionally communicate with fellow co-workers, installers and company leaders.
Willing to train the right individual, however experience with customer service, multi-tasking, design, building, selling, administrative duties, typing and answering phones is a plus.
This position is open immediately and has the opportunity for growth.
Hourly rate based on experience.
Monday - Friday 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
