Boasso Global, a premier intermodal service company providing transportation and tank container services, is seeking a skilled Terminal Support Coordinator to support dispatch operations at our Chesapeake, VA terminal.
The primary responsibilities of this position include entering customer orders into the computer system for dispatch to retrieve the required tank containers and chassis, retrieving releases of all tanks from local rail sights and reporting them to dispatch, entering customer information for billing, informing equipment control and dispatch of special customer needs regarding tanks for transport. Position would require maintaining direct and indirect communications with customers via e-mail, telephone and fax, and other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Qualified applicants will be expected to cross train in other departments including dispatch operations.
Preferred candidates will possess a High School Diploma or GED, have experience in the trucking and/or intermodal transportation industry, be computer literate, and possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
