InMotion Hosting is looking for a Senior Linux Network Administrator to provide the technical expertise needed to support day-to-day operations of a growing web hosting, web design, and software company. In this role you will be leading efforts to architect, maintain, optimize and audit our rapidly growing networks to meet the needs of operation. This position will give you the ability to create innovative approaches to solving the unique challenges encountered at an expanding company in the web hosting industry.
What You’ll Do:
Plan and coordinate maintenance, repairs and changes in accordance with change management policies and communicate expected changes clearly to the company and to our customers
Configure, implement, manage and troubleshoot Brocade enterprise class routers and switches, including MLXe, CER-RT and ICX, as well as Arista switches at our core switching layer.
Participate in the oversight and operation of continuously operated networks and data centers
Manage equipment in an environment where network availability is critical to the business
Design and deploy new enterprise class networks, including routers, switches and firewalls
Serve as a mentor and an escalation point for junior network administrators
Troubleshoot issues at both Layer 2 and Layer 3 networks quickly and efficiently
Monitor and test service quality and network performance regularly
Produce documentation of network design and configuration

What We’re Looking For:
Experience with Red Hat Linux, CentOS Linux, or UNIX operating systems
Advanced experience with high availability topologies in both routing and switching layers
Experience with Layer 3 technologies: IPv4, IPv6, OSPF, BGP, HSRP, VRRP, QoS
Experience with network authentication protocols (TACACS, RADIUS)
Extensive knowledge of spanning tree protocol and VLANs
Experience managing firewalls or other threat defense systems in a large traffic environment
Familiarity with IOS Routing Maps, Policy Based Routing, Preflix-List Configurations
Experience implementing scalable and redundant networks
Knowledge of security best practices all the way up to the enterprise network layer
Comfortability with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, Ruby and/or Perl
Automation and configuration management experience with Ansible, Fabric and Puppet
Experience with virtualization technologies such as OpenVZ, Virtuozzo, KVM
Familiarity with data analysis using the real-time graphing systems “Graphite” and “Cacti”
Familiarity with advanced monitoring systems using Icinga, Nagios, SNMP
Experience with various storage technologies, including RAID, NFS and iSCSI
