East West Technical Services (EWTS) is seeking a Protected Species Observer (PSO) for an marine construction monitoring project in the Norfolk, Virginia area.
Work Dates:
December 23, 24, 29, and 30, 2025
(Additional dates may be added)
Qualifications:
Must be an NMFS-approved PSO
Prior field experience observing for marine mammals and sea turtles
Preferred: experience supporting construction or pile-driving monitoring projects
Strong communication and documentation skills
Ability to work independently in variable weather conditions
Compensation: $300 daily rate.
