Local residential building is seeking a highly motivated maintenance technician to maintain the building & grounds and fulfill request from the residents. Tasks will include (but are not limited to): plumbing repairs, painting, cleaning/debris removal, pool maintenance, fence repairs, drywall repairs, and some furniture repair and installation. This is a part-time position working Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm; also requires one visit each weekend that is flexible. Some benefits are offered including paid time off. This position has the potential to become full time.
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
Positive attitude
Experience in general maintenance position 1+ years
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Trade school experience is a plus
Knowledge of Plumbing and HVAC Equipment
Developed Painting Skills
Familiarity with Swimming Pools
Familiarity with Hand Tools
Familiarity with select Power Tools including Sanders, Drills, Pressure Washer
Knowledge of safe and proper chemical usage including Pool Chemicals, Paint Strippers, and other household products
Excellent attention to detail
Proficient oral and written communication skills
Excellent Customer Service skills
Strong ability to maintain an appropriate work pace/prioritization
Ability to be flexible in changing assignments
Ability to take direction and complete tasks with a minimum of supervision
Ability to work independently, as well as contribute as a member of a team
Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
Ability to climb, bend, squat, kneel, push/pull, and regularly move or lift items 40-50 pounds
