The Challenge:

What if you could us e your engineering skills to help stop threat actors, catch a kidnapper, or solve a cold case? As an embedded engineer, you understand the power behind complex systems. That knowledge is key when it comes to how law enforcement investigates modern te chn ology. We're looking for an engineer who can us e their skills to analyze today's electronics and build the tools to gain access and recover data from them.

Our team performs hands-on teardowns, te chn ical analysis, tool development for mobile devices, wearables, smart home gadgets, emerging te chn ologies, and c us tom electronics. That's why we need you, an embedded engineer who understands the design and development process. You'll apply your embedded expertise to reverse engineer system interfaces, storage, and security. Then, as an engineer, prototype and create new tools and hardware. You'll directly impact investigations and intelligence gathering by recovering data that was seemingly lost, destroyed, or protected. You Have:

  • 3 years of experience with embedded systems development
  • 1+ years of experience with C, C, or Python programming languages
  • Top Secret clearance
  • BA or BS degree in EE or Computer Engineering


Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with embedded flash memory te chn ology
  • Experience with bare-metal or driver development
  • Experience with ARM or MIPS architectures and processors
  • Experience with US B, UART, I2C, SPI, JTAG, or other protocols for system interface, programming, and debugging


Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.
