SAIC is currently seeking a motivated, career and customer oriented IT Change Management Coordinator to join our team and begin an exciting and challenging career with Air Force EITaas EUS. This position allows for 100% remote work.
The Change Management Coordinator will work cross-functional with the SAIC internal Service Center, client IPO, client Enterprise Change Management, and other EITaaS vendor solutions.
In this role you will:
Perform the day-to-day oversight of the change request process, for example, building and reviewing change plans, managing the change implementers, making sure that the changes proceeds in a timely fashion
Gather appropriate information based on the type of change being investigated
Associate related CIs, incidents, and services to the change request
Provide status updates to requesters
Review change plans and schedules
Plan activities include scheduling the change request, assessing risk and impact, creating plans, defining and sequencing the tasks needed to accomplish the change request, and scheduling people and resources for each task
Reviewing all completed tasks. In the Implement stage, at least one task related to the change request is in progress.
Conduct post-implementation reviews to validate the results of the change request
Determining requester satisfaction with change request
Establish Change Management at unique geographic locations including Change Advisory Boards, Maintenance Windows for all required stakeholders (Local Changes vs Enterprise Changes)
Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors in Computer Science, MIS or Business and two (2) years or more experience; Masters and 0 years related experience
Experience in ServiceNow (preferred) or Remedy ITSM solutions design, architecting, and development
Ability to interface and communicate with team members at all levels, including business operations, finance, technology, and management
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
US Citizen
Secret Security Clearance, or ability to obtain required
DESIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
ITIL v3 or 4 certification
ITIL Change Management
Experience working with US Federal Government customers
HDI certification
