Position: Cloud Security Architect

Location: Reston, VA (Initially Remote)

Hiring Mode : Fulltime with Hexaware Technologies

Job Description:
· Lead security for Architecture practice in Cloud Infrastructure, Microservices and Data applications collaborating with the Single Family, Multi-Family, Capital Market and Finance Portfolio Architect peers, business, and engineering
· Establish strategic security architecture direction for cloud service adoption, including standards and frameworks (NIST) that are aligned with overall business strategy
· Achieve security architecture compliance for : Sarbanes-Oxley, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, data privacy requirements, as well as state and federal regulations
· Participate in architecture governance processes for both information security and the Enterprise
· Responsibilities include setting the strategy for securing infrastructure and application build, deploy, monitor, and operate applications. Candidate should have architected security in applications at scale on modern cloud native architectures (AWS).
· At least 10 years of software development, solutions architect, or cloud architect experience with focus in Information security for 7 years
· AWS Certification, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP),
· Demonstrated work experience in creation of architecture, architecture support for Agile implementations & Architecture Sprints
· Experience in driving architecture and business innovation thought process
· Clearly communicates and presents analyses and results and persuades others by supporting ideas with logical arguments/data
· Experience in coaching and mentoring senior architects
· Technical knowledge of AWS public cloud, cloud native design, microservice architecture, containerization, and non-functional requirements
