Job Details
What You'll Be Doing
Own the data pipeline and be responsible for the full-cycle
Develop containerized microservices and implement BP for data reutilization
Collaborate within your group on architecting, extending, maintaining, and tuning our big data capabilities
Own and have accountability for the technical design (with support from the lead architect) and implementation of the application, end to end
Be responsible for code quality, CI/CD, and software development lifecycle (SDLC) of the application
Monitor system performance and implement tuning
Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure that our systems are fit for purpose
estimate and implement feature work to a high standard, meeting both functional and non-functional requirements, on time
Manage technical debt, making the right calls between balancing pragmatic delivery and compromising implementation patterns.
Contribute to technical project meetings, technical reviews and delivery activities.
What We're Looking For
3+ years of experience working in a big data stack
Experience developing and deploying ETL pipelines using Apache Spark and/or Databricks
Experience in SQL and/or Spark SQL
Familiarity with Java and/or Informatica a plus
