TrEd Solutions is currently looking to hire a

Systems Engineer with experience in Process Engineering. This opportunity is a full time, permanent position that will work on site at TrEd’ client site in the Reston, VA area 2-3 days per week. The other 2-3 days per week can be worked remotely or at one of TrEd’s office locations in Reston, VA or Manassas, VA


Title: Systems Engineer

Location: Northern Virginia

Overview:
  • Work with client to understand current workflows
  • Utilize analytic methods to evaluate and determine areas for improvement (DMAIC, PDSA, etc.)
  • Re-image and re-engineer workflows, processes, and procedures to achieve the desired improvements
  • Create requirements, specifications, architectures, designs to achieve the desired improvements
  • Understand the Adtech ecosystem, to include digital advertising technologies, systems, channels, automation, measures of effectiveness, and customer journey.
  • Document and validate all work products

Responsibilities:
  • Meet regularly with client, at client location
  • Attend working session with client and company experts
  • Create and maintain documentation
  • Effectively present material to clients
  • Perform trade studies and make/buy analyses
  • Build development plans
  • Build test and validation plans
  • Build integration plans to include change management planning
  • Support systems integration between current and new systems as required
  • On time delivery of high quality work product

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of in-depth experience in Systems Engineering
  • Experience in all phases of Systems Engineering Life Cycle like Requirement Gathering and Analysis, Architecture and Design, Test Planning and Implementation, Verification and Validation, Implementation, Maintenance, and deployment
  • Experience in Process Engineering and implementation
  • Ability to identify and solve complex issues in a timely and efficient manner
  • Excellent communication skills and a desire to work together within a fast-moving team
  • A desire to learn and apply technology in a pragmatic way to create client value
  • Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance

Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering related subject area; or equivalent work experience and training required.
  • Master’s degree desired.
