This role requires a public affairs/public relations/marketing background and will focus on communications and marketing related activities that support a cybersecurity-focused organization.Strong candidates will have experience supporting a federal agency or national organization with communications is highly preferred. If you are passionate about strategic communications and have the requisite prior experience, we'd love to talk to you. Key Responsibilities:Assists with the authoring, proofing and quality control of communications materials and other project documentation.

Review content and publications for content, grammar, syntax, and formatting.

Assists with the clerical management of the team SharePoint to ensure all talking points and other relevant documents are filed and accessible office wide.

Assists with the data collection across divisions to compile and update weekly reports that are utilized by senior leadership.

Provides administrative and copy writing support to develop talking points and messaging on an as needed basis.

Responsible for assisting with the management of a shared outlook mailbox.

Provide solution-based feedback to the client on rollouts in addition to providing task specific support to various campaigns.

Qualifications:Currently holds, or is able to obtain, DHS Fitness Determination.

BS/BA in Marketing, PR, Communications, or related field.

Minimum of three (3) of demonstrated experience assisting in the planning for the strategic direction and development of a comprehensive PR activities and experience providing all writing, editing, prooing, and creative conception as requested, for any of the following materials: reports, advisories, news releases, fact sheets, and Web site text.

Knowledge of public relations

Preferred Skills and experience:Excellent communication skills, especially written.

Strong research and organizational skills.

PR agency, corporate or government agency experience preferred.

Self-starter, with ability to manage tasks and handle multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
